An Australian Story episode of interest

Post by andy » Sun Mar 11, 2012 2:14 pm

Hi there,
i thought this latest episode of "Australian Story", might be of interest.
The episode title is "Half a Million acres " and aired on ABC on Monday 5th March 2012.
It is about a farmer in the Mulga Shrublands of the Southern Rangelands of WA. He is using ponding banks and other techniques to slow water flow along waterways to reduce erosion and rehydrate the floodplain.
Not strictly NSF, but worth a look, particularly for those in marginal areas.
cheers
andy
