Our relationship with plants

Post by Angela Helleren » Thu Aug 12, 2010 4:54 pm

ABC recently showed the documentary series- The Botany of Desire.

I hope many of you also caught this interesting doco , if not you can view episode 1,2, http://www.abc.net.au/iview/#/docs
Tracing the history of just 4 plants, the apple, potato, marajuana and tulip - the importance of planting a variety of within species to produce better crops naturally!
Couldn't help but think how it also relates to animals. I've always preferred mutts over pedigrees - less likely to suffer breed specific problems and less attitude!

Cheers
Many hands make light work.
Unfortunately, too many hands stirring anti clockwise, has spoiled mother natures recipe.
Back to basics.
