Do you want to see NSF become part of the coming election??

As elections are one of the only times governments and oppositions take notice of public issues, do you think the potential of Natural Sequence Farming should become an issue.

Over the last years billions of dollars have gone into so called 'fixes' for our problems and now more billions are being poured down possibly another deep hole.

Do you think NSF should be given adequate funds to either prove or disprove it's theories?

Let us know your thoughts here.

If you want to see NSF become part of the coming election and feel passionate to do something about it, may I suggest you write to your sitting local member, the challenger, the PM and Malcolm Turnbull and tell them in no uncertain words what you want to see for your country and for your childrens and grandchildrens future.

Future generations are relying on you to put our elected representatives ON NOTICE!!!

Is anything being organised for this. I would be better if we could get a larger number of people asking for this. A lone voice, here and there will not make our pollies take note!!!

On the election:
The time is coming when each individual must take on the responsibility for their own integrity. It is through integrity we find our place in the world. We must take care of this life on earth and make it honest for our grandchildren.

As John Tarrant in his book "The Light inside the Dark", says:

In the great silence, integrity listens for the true course … Integrity helps us find our place in the world. This is its durability; its irreducibility, its affinity with the stones that make up the earth’s mantle. Integrity stands on the primal matter that we found through suffering. And because of its affinity with the stuff of the earth, it links us to our grandparents, the ones who are in the earth, and our grandchildren yet to come, whom the earth will produce like flowers.

Both the Coalition and the Greens have given bi-partisan support to Peter Andrews NSF.

There is a now an opportunity for Labour to do the same before the 24th November.

Regardless of your political bias, put pressure on all of your political reps to see support for NSF so that ALL Australians will get the benefits of Peter's extroadinary work.

Govt vows cash to make farming resilient

Greens give Bi-Partisan Support to Coalition Pledge to NSF
A re-elected Howard government would spend $6 million on a demonstration and study of natural sequence farming.

The technique, developed by NSW Hunter Valley landowner Peter Andrews, is designed to improve the health of floodplains and streams by slowing the rate of water flow after rain.

Environment Minister Malcolm Turnbull said natural sequence farming techniques trialled to date had proved resilient to drought and deserved further investigation.

Agriculture Minister Peter McGauran said $6 million would be spent setting up a network of demonstration sites and establishing a scientific review panel to analyse and audit each site.

Greens senator Rachel Siewert said the funding was a welcome initiative but it needed to be part of a broader approach to improving water use in farming.

"The series of trials (of natural sequence farming) need to fit into an overall strategic approach to managing the landscape in a changing climate," she told AAP.
