tortured willow

thinking about planting a tortured willow tree on my property (30 acres) but hesitant incase I get fined for it. I plan to put it close to my dam in a corner of the block. I'm aware it's classed as a noxious weed by the govt. What are people's views on this? Would you recommend I go ahead? Your advice would be appreciated.

If ever something was a symbol of Peter Andrews work, the willow would have to be it. Plant one or some and hold your head up high, I have.
