On February 25th 2008 Peter will be on ABC radio in Darwin in an hour long segment of radio that airs each weekday known as 'The Guestroom'.

Its a live to air conversation with presenter Leon Compton, interwoven with six peices of music selected by the guest. Its basically a profile of the highs and lows of the guests' life, their passions, influences and thoughts in general.

Peter Andrews sounds like the perfect candidate.

This is a Press release from BBC Radio 4 on the first of 5 in the series "A Sunparched Country".

Peter features in episode 2 on May 6th.

A Sunparched Country Episode 1/5
Tuesday 22 April
9.30-9.45am BBC RADIO 4

Caroline Holmes discovers how Australia is coping with its worst drought on record, in this new, five-part series, and meets people who are at the vanguard of innovative, practical adaptations to the challenges the country faces.

Caroline looks at how city dwellers are coping with daily water restrictions and visits a house in Brisbane, which is leading the way in water preservation.

Environmental guru Tim Flannery also describes how he believes the drought is part of a longer pattern of climate change.

Australia is the driest inhabited continent in the world, but it is also one of the highest consumers of water per capita. Tight water restrictions are in force in all of Australia's main cities, food prices have shot up and Sydney has seen its first hose-rage death.

But people are also adapting. Australia is becoming the world leader on managing urban water demand. Caroline finds out how domestic rainwater harvesting and grey water recycling systems, once regarded as health hazards to be avoided at all costs, are now becoming widespread, as described by 99-year-old Dame Elizabeth Murdoch – mother of the famous media magnate and a powerful force in her own right.
