Heaps of stuff out there on successful cell grazing.evergraze program not 'alternative' but pretty good stuff...

Oh but below that are clear sloping paddocks which have traditionally been cropped but are used for grazing now.our property actually resembles exactly the illustration of the 'concept of thirds' farm in peters book

Hi there I am ambivelent of the benefits of lucerne and disagree with the notion that it protects soil. In saying that I am really talking about paddocks of it on it's own. And it's all down to management. Bare ground is the biggest problem with it that I can see. how can bare ground be protected?do...

are you finding that slashing the capeweed is helping?i am not convinced about it working out. we have not really seen any result from 2 seasons of capeweed slashing, if anything its worse.when you slash it it doesn't give much mulch what it does give rots and goes sludgy and seems to stop anything ...

Thought it might be of interest to note that the area slashed is a great glossy green colour better in colour than the rest of the paddock. The clover is doing very well but it is also covered in mustard weed. At about the same intensity as the previous amsinckia! So it is flowering and we are slashi...
