Re: Iconic ‘Tarwyn Park’ under threat from mining ‘lunacy’
ghosta - This simply transfers the problem elsewhere...probably to third world countries who already have enough problems. I agree with both parts of your statement...It is a problem no matter where operations are situated because big money gets the green light over local communities wellbeing! Give...

Re: Exhaust emissions fertiliser
As previously stated I'm no mathematician or scientist for that matter yet I have found this a very interesting topic. I can turn a light switch on without needing to know why it works yet if it doesn't work someone had better have the answer!! I hope Ian won't mind my throwing in this link on...

Jodie, I'm sure Peter would agree that often it's a case of finding the right ear to hear the message. Not easy with so many competing interests and lobby groups yet the message is being heard where it matters most... at the grassroots! 2,500 HA should raise a lot of ears and eyebrows!!! Chee...

Re: Carbon Dioxide: Put Simply: It's all B.S.!!!
From the top article- 97% of this CO2 is produced by Mother Nature. It’s natural and essential for life on earth and the sea. So, out of our journey of one kilometre, there are just 12 millimetres left (about half an inch --- just over a centimetre) which is produced by man. ...........................

Re: Exhaust emissions fertiliser
To my simple unmathematical mind, (thought I best state this fact up front :D ) I would think there is already a known amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere from a tank of fuel, (of different types). Knowing the Area covered per tank of fuel would give to CO2 sequestered into the soil. I rememb...
