A great read that is for the most part well argued and detailed. It makes you wonder where the so-called experts are coming from in the face of compelling evidence that the landscape can be saved if there is sufficient will. Hilltop hedgerows

In the book Peter advocates establishing hedgerows on hilltops and ridges. He urges planting deciduous trees but does not make any recommendations. What variety of trees and scrub would be best suited to creating a fertility zone on small acreage??
