Matt, If you create the chain of ponds from the highest point and you re-hydrate the land, why do you need to pump the water back to the top? Why not let it collect in the lake, if that is where it runs to and then let it flow further out across your property. It seems you will gain both ways; your ...

Hi Duane,

Fantastic! I am more than happy to be proven wrong. When can we expect the first videos showing how to read the land and build contours correctly?

Hi Shirley, I believe in NSF but am now unwilling to help PA as these sites are not run to promote NSF as a cause but as an advertisement to drum up business for professional services provided only by PA. I do not have an issue with PA trying to make money, but I do have issues with secrecy and obfu...

As I started this thread I had better make a reply to what has been going on recently. Duane, thanks for making the effort to keep the forum more active. It is nice to see some interest in this thread being generated even if the talk has strayed slightly off topic, however it is obvious that people ...

webmaster,

Sorry, that is exactly what I should have said! Don't click the links to take you there.

Whilst you are here, what do you think about moving the articles and forum to the Joomla site?

Duane, Thanks for the welcome and the reply. You can already see that there are folks who can and are willing to help; it would be great to put this together in one coherent site for the benefit of PA, NSF and all. I do understand that PA would be much happier talking to a group of like-minded farme...

Hi Greg,

Nicely structured website.

Evergreen looks to be aimed at the broadscale farmers using weedkill and fertilizer so probably isn't what I'm looking for, but let us know your feelings and whether we should be learning more.

Regards,

Alan

Greg, I don't think this will move quickly, farmers aren't city folk! They like to digest things and make sure that they are taking the right path; just like sowing a crop, a matter of judgment. Your ideas of course are right if PA wants his followers to help spread the message, which is the right t...

Greg, Make sure you don't scare folks off with talk of the details! The primary objective right now must be to gain a consensus amongst ourselves and show PA that we are trying to help and not to take over his vision. That we are concerned enough and believe enough in what he is saying to move NSF m...

I spend hours watching my compost bins and the areas where I have spread it. It is amazing the life that appears within the soil.

Nature, wonderful thing.

Shirley, Greg, I think it is worthwhile continuing the conversation even amongst ourselves as others will join us as the dissemination of information about NSF if of vital importance for Australia. Shirley you are right about not just being about farming but also about the way we plan urban environm...

Shirl, I have read many of your posts and can see that you do a lot of research to help others out. Thanks for the support for this post, I almost thought only two of us cared. I see from looking around there is a blog also at http://peterandrews.com.au/ where Peter did attempt some replies. Unfortu...

gwmbox, Thanks for the link, I did read it. Your suggestions would also have been mine and so I obviously agree! There appear to be several semi-interested parties involved with the different websites which are doing little to promote NSF in a coherent way. There is good information on all the sites...
